If you’re trying to send non-AT&T email on AT&T DSL and you’re getting error messages, contact customer support and ask them to open port 25. That is all.

The question is, how long do you have to wait to talk to a customer support agent?

I used the chat feature, got someone right away but there were delays of up to a minute or so between replies. Wasn’t that bad.
